WILLIAMS, Mary (Betty) Elizabeth(nee McDonald)December 16, 1927 – Ottawa, ONJuly 2, 2014 – Calgary, ABBetty Williams of Calgary passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Betty was born in Ottawa but moved to Calgary at a very young age, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She attended St Mary's school and later Calgary Business College. Betty is survived by three children Greg (Joanne Quirk-Williams), Diane (Fred) VanVliet and Therese McArthur; two granddaughters Michelle McArthur (Dave Badcock) and Deanna McArthur (Mackie Bellot); the VanVliet children and grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Jack McDonald of Victoria, British Columbia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband Bob Williams, two infant children Martin and Catherine and three sisters Helen, Irene and Byrne.
