JOHNSON, Mary W.Mary W. Johnson, 83, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2013 after battling Parkinson's Disease. Born on June 5, 1930 in Hollywood, CA, she has lived in Palm Beach Gardens for the past 20 years. She worked at AUTEC in Andros, Bahamas for 10 years before retiring to Florida. She continued working at PGA National Resort as a PBX operator until her disease prevented her from working. She is survived by her four children, Debbie Saunders and husband Karl of Singer Island, Billy Johnson and wife Melanie of Palm Beach Gardens, Donna Shelton of Arlington, TX and Denene Evans and husband Adolphus of Houston, TX; her brother, Milton Wright and wife Rutha of Sugar Valley, GA. She was also a very devoted grandmother to Evan, Eden, Austin, Drec, Andre', Angel, Adolphus Jr., Chase, and Alexis as well as six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was very active and dedicated to staying physically fit by walking and exercising regularly. Her family and many friends will miss her dearly and never forget what an independent and kind woman she was to all she met. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, FL in the Bella Lago room at 2:00 PM.
