PELL CITY-Funeral services for Mary W. Goodwin, 85, of Pell City, will be held Monday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Pell City with the Rev. W.H. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Munford Baptist Church Memorial Cemetery. Goodwin died Saturday, February 14, 2009. She was a member of the Harvest Church in Anniston. She was called Madie by those who knew her and Nanny by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress and made her clothes up until her later years, and she was a wonderful cook. She is survived by her son Bobby Goodwin of Pell City; sister Agnes Wade Glover of Munford; grandchildren Brandi Hathorn, Dawn Robertson, Shane Champion, Beverly Champion, Wade Champion; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cliff Chance, Mitchell Chance, Wendell Pless, Cypress Hathorn, Harry Collins and Timothy Collins. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.
