MACON, Ga. - Mary W. Forrester of Georgia Baptist Village Plantation Drive and wife of the late Dr. Clifton A. Forrester, died Monday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Ingleside Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Dr. Tim McCoy and Dr. E. C. Sheehan will officiate. Mrs. Forresters grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Snows Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street and suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, Ga. 31210 or to the Clifton A. Forrester Scholarship Fund of the Georgia Baptist Convention, 2930 Flowers Road, South, Atlanta, Ga. 30341. Mrs. Forrester, daughter of the late Foster Bell Williams and Emma Belle Wooddy Williams, was born in Chambers County, Alabama and had lived in Macon most of her life. She was a 1925 graduate of Columbus High School and received an AB Degree from Tift College in 1930. Mrs. Forrester was a homemaker and a member of Ingleside Baptist Church where, for many years, she taught the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. She was also a member the WMU and the Ingelites Senior Adult Group, serving as Group Captain. Mrs. Forrester was also a member of the Joy Seekers of Tattnall Square Baptist Church and the '50' Senior Adult Group at Lake Wildwood. She was the mother of the late Dr. Donald W. Forrester. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Richard A. and Sharon G. Forrester and Daniel (Dan) M. and Janice P. Forrester, both of Macon and Kay B. Forrester of Sky Valley, Ga.; ten grandchildren, Ruth Marie Wilson of Marietta, Clifton T. Forrester of Richmond, Va., Paul R. Forrester of Atlanta, David Forrester of Macon, James Forrester of Macon, Greg Forrester of Atlanta, Donna Kay Bapst of Kennesaw, Jay Forrester of Augusta, Courtney Forrester Swift of Macon and Rob Forrester of Macon; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Cyril Williams of Honolulu, Hawaii; and her stepsister, Hazel Rowland of Savannah.
