Obituary of Mary-Virginia Carter

CARTER, MARY VIRGINIA (HIGDON), 68, of Louisville, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Norton Hospital. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Hayward Carter; son, Billy Car-ter; daughters, Ginger Raney (Ronnie) and Kim Sullivan (Larry); brothers, Terry, Jimmy and Danny Higdon; sisters, Sheila Higdon and Carolyn Turner; and grandchildren, Shawna, Randi and Cori. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Denis Catholic Church, 4205 Cane Run Rd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
