Seamstress AVERA, Ga. - Miss Mary Virginia Hadden, 87, of Broad St., entered into rest Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Gibson Health & Rehabilitation Center, Gibson. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donald Lumpkin officiating. Miss Hadden was a native of Jefferson County and lived there all her life. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked at Stapleton Garment Company. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Margaret Hardin of Avera; five nieces, Hilda R. Bartlett of Avera, Iris R. Jones of Dublin, Beth R. Chance of Wrens, Clarice R. Chase of Falls Church, Va. and Zane H. Falkner of Harlem; one nephew, Mr. Kenneth Hardin of Avera; several great-nieces and nephews.
