Mary V. (Ward) Boyle of Marshfield, formerly of Brighton, died May 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife for 50 years to John T. Boyle; devoted mother of Marytheresa Parsons and her husband Richard of Marshfield, Johnny of Brighton, Kathleen McGonigle and her husband Kevin of Braintree, Michael of Brighton and Patricia Boyle-McKenna and her husband Matthew of Brighton; sister of Michael, Paul and Susan Ward and Anne LeRoy; loving grandmother of Caroline, Brian, Meaghan and Bridget Parsons, Abigail, Jacqueline and Brendan McGonigle, Delia and Maeve McKenna. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a longtime crossing guard and school secretary at St. Columbkille School. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (near Brighton Courthouse), Brighton, Monday at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton, at 10:30. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135. Funeral home handicapped accessible.
