Mary Louise Haube Tierney, widow of the Rev. John Tierney, formerly of Roper Mountain Road, died Friday, March 14, 2008.Born in Tarentum, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Clowes Haube.Mrs. Tierney was a homemaker and a charter member of Edwards Road Baptist Church, where she served for many years in the Pre-School Department. She was a member of the Wives of Evangelists Organization of GreenvilleSurviving are two daughters, Kathy Tierney of Oakland, N.J. and Cindy Tierney Haithcock and her husband, James "Jim", of Taylors; one son, Jonathan Tierney of Greenville; a sister, Catherine Sarti of East Deer, Pa.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Edwards Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lamar Mooneyham officiating.
