Mary Theresa     (Terry) Gibbons     Cavanaugh, 77      PORTLAND -- Mary T. (Terry) Cavanaugh, 77, of South Portland, died on Monday, April 21, 2008, at Maine Medical Center after a brief sudden illness. She was peacefully called home to her savior at 6:25 a.m.     Predeceased by her mother and best friend, Marie M. Gibbons, in 1990; her husband, James S. Cavanaugh; and a brother, Christopher Gibbons. Survived by her sons, James H. Cavanaugh of Portland, Brian D. Cavanaugh, his wife Kathleen, their children Crystal and Desiree of Brentwood, N.Y., and Christopher T. Cavanaugh of South Portland; her wonderful great-grandson, Devin; brother James Buddy Gibbons of Cape Elizabeth; family friend Jeanne Orlando of Pinehurst, N.C.; and many other loving family and friends.     Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m., at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland, Friday, April 25.
