FITZGERALD, Mary Theresa "Marie", 83, of Timber Pines, passed away on June 25, 2010. Survived by husband, Ed of 58 years; and children, Barbara, Paul, Patti, Kathy, Robert, and Karen; and grandchildren, Jeff, Tim, Caitlin, Andrew, Kathryn, Devin, Morgan, Courtney, Colby, and Kylie. She will be ever loved. Born in Astoria, NY, an only child, she spent most of her adult life in Stamford, CT, where she served tirelessly in the Women's Auxiliary of St. Joseph's Hospital, becoming honorary lifetime president. When real estate was still a man's world, she headed her own real estate firm, being named Realtor of the Year for the State of Connecticut. She loved tennis and always fought the good fight. Services will be held on June 28, 2010 at 10 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 7423 Kass Circle, Spring Hill, FL 34606 in lieu of flowers.
