Mary Tumblin Mahon, 78, of 3573 Irvin Mill Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late George P. and Allie Mae Allen Tumblin. Retired: Abney Mills, Belton Plant. Faith: Baptist. Survivors: Husband, Charlie Mahon; a son, Pete Miller of Greenwood; sisters, Bobbie Lindley and Martha McGlohan, both of Laurens; a brother, Paul Tumblin of Laurens; and three grandchildren.
