She was employed as a supervisor in the identification department of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 31 years and retired in 1974. She was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church and Low Moor Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Alexander, five sisters and four brothers. Her survivors include four nieces, Suzanne W. Wooton, Sally Allen Irvine, Rebecca Jane Irvine and Betsy W. Brammer; five nephews, Robert L. Gleason, Lawrence I. Wood, William G. Wood, Bruce A. Wood and John L.
