Mary Louise Bulow Smith, 86, of 4 E Ramsey Court, wife of the late Edward David Smith Jr., died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Promisedland, a daughter of the late Samuel and Janie Bradley Bulow, she was a member of Allen Temple AME Church.Survivors include two daughters, Linda Karim, of Richmond, Va., and Pamela Smith, of Rochester, N.Y.; one sister, Vurna Hammonds, of Greenville; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, May 21, from 4 to 4:45 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 109 Green Ave., Greenville, with memorial services to follow at 5 p.m.The family is at the home.Cremation Society of South Carolina.
