Mary Smith Lee SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Mary Smith Lee, age 71, of 203 Milan Street, Spartanburg, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. Mrs. Lee was born in Union, SC June 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Hawkins Smith and Pearl Measser Smith. She retired from Spartan Mills. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Wright and husband Danny of Shelby, NC; a son, Johnnie Childers and wife Barbara of Union; a sister, Virginia Harless and husband Everette of York; a spouse, Larry Duncan of the home; eleven grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lee was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Gail Childers; and a brother, George Smith. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, November 18, 2012, at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Dr. Barry Goodman and Rev. Bob Buhl. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening, November 17 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Regional Home Care Services, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
