SALZER, Mary “Mae“ (nee Short) - Passed away suddenly on October 17, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Tony (1987). Loving mother of Joanne and husband John Mancini, Bill and wife Denise Salzer, Linda and husband Tom Chevalier, Don Salzer, Tracey Salzer and fiance Alan Brown. Cherished “Grandma Mae“ of Jeff, Jay and Jennifer Mancini, Debbie, Gary and Karen Salzer, Todd and wife Sarah Chevalier and Dean Chevalier. Predeceased by grandsons Brian and Robert Salzer. Dear sister of Bill Short and wife Colette, John Short and wife Joan. Dear sister-in-law of John and Joe Salzer, Taffie Salzer-Glass and Pat Bennett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mae enjoyed her retirement years playing cards, darts and bowling. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, Ontario (519-253-7234) on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 2 to 5 and 6:45 to 9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Thomas the Apostle Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
