SMITH _ Mary Ellen (nee Scarrow), born May 8, 1949, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2003. Predeceased by her mother Vera and father Percy. Survived by her brother David (Pat); nephews Mike and Rob and their families; and many cousins. Mary was born in and lived most of her life in Vancouver, moving to Chilliwack in 2001. She will be remembered for her kind heart, caring nature, willingness to help others whenever possible and for her love of animals. She was a strong willed person who was not afraid to fight for her beliefs. No service by request. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crisis Centre of your choice.
