Mar 7, 1921 - Mar 23, 2012It is with deep sadness we announce Mary Moore passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 23,2012 in North Vancouver at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Jim, brothers Curtis and Wes, sisters Ruby and Alice. Mary is survived by her sister Irene, loving children, sons Allan (Gabrielle), Brent (Judy) and daughter Sharon; her adoring grandchildren Erin (Alex) and Lindsay (Scott) and nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Parry Sound, Ontario and the family moved to North Vancouver 2 years later in 1923. Mary and Jim met at St. Andrews Church and married December 8, 1945. They settled in North Vancouver where they raised their family. Mary worked as a bookkeeper at Hornes Brothers Mill and loved to spend time with her family. Her family will dearly miss her and her gentle nature will stay with us. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31 at 1 pm at St. Andrews United Church 1044 St. Georges, North Vancouver.For those who wish to remember Mary, please do it with a kind word or deed to someone in need.
