Mary Rowell Williams Septembert 15, 1934- September 1, 2014 Phenix City, AL- Mrs. Mary Rowell Williams, 79, of 1839 Lee Road 208, Apt. 1201, Phenix City, AL passed Monday, September 1, 2014 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church, Smiths, AL with Elder Richard Hassell, pastor and Rev. J. W. Jones, eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Williams was born September 15, 1934 in Lee County, AL to the late Ike Rowell and the late Lula Cook Rowell. She was a member of Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church Her survivors include seven children, Lawrence (Susan) Williams, Jr. of Navarre, FL; Nail Williams of Phenix City, AL; Brenda (Waddell) Quarles, Barbara Williams and Jerry B. Williams all of Columbus, GA; Linda G. Shealy of Salem, AL and Linda F. Williams of Smiths Station, AL; one brother, Isiah (Susan M.) Rowell of Smiths, AL; two sisters, Annie R. (Tommy) Williams and Jean Jackson both of Chicago, IL; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
