Mary Rose (Venegoni) Williams, age 88, of West Frankfort passed away at 12:20 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Frankfort Care Center in West Frankfort. She was born December 11, 1922 in Herrin to John and Pauline (Gualdoni) Venegoni. She married Ralph Williams and he preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include four children, Michael Ray (Cynthia) Williams of Prescott, Arizona, Mary Catherine (Roger) Patrick of Marietta, Georgia, Susan Ann Williams of West Frankfort and Patrick (Rebecca) Williams of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Christopher Williams and Heather Harrison; two great grandchildren, Claire Williams and Riley Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph, three brothers, Mario (Mike) Venegoni, Joseph Venegoni and Louis Venegoni and by two sisters, Ann Kintz and Louise Nicolotti. She had formerly worked at the West Frankfort Public Library. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the San Carlo Catholic Cemetery in Herrin.
