SMITH, Mary "Marie" Rose Peacefully surrounded by family, Monday September 18, 2006 at St. Patrick's Home. Devoted wife of the late Henry Rae. Loving mother of Peter, Geraldine (James) Reid and late Stephen. Cherished grandmother of Lynn, Colleen, Amanda, Emily, Duncan, Ian and 15 great-grandchildren. Marie was born in Glasgow, Scotland, October 15, 1919. She trained as a nurse in Leeds and served in W.W. II, where she met and married Rae in Italy. After 4 years in Venezuela they immigrated to Canada in 1957 where she continued her nursing career.
