Mary Rose Mitchell, a lifelong White Plains resident died May 10, 2001. She was 73. She was born March 3, 1928 to Peter G. and Nora Theresa Mitchell. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was employed by the Home Savings Bank and later the Bank of New York in White Plains, retiring as loan officer 10 years ago. She is survived by her 2 brothers, Rev. Peter G. Mitchell and Rev. John Charles Mitchell. Visiting hours will be Sunday 6-9 pm at McMAHON, LYON & HARTNETT FUNERAL HOME (914)949-7777. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
