JOHNSON Mary Rose Acquino Johnson, age 82 of Trumbull, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was prede-ceased by her husband of 53 years, Everett August Johnson; as well as two brothers, Franklin and Luke Acquino; and a sister, Ruth Acquino Smith. Mary was born August 1, 1926, in Norwalk to the late Helen Duffy Acquino and Frederick Acquino. She was a longtime resident of Westport as well as of Norwalk, Naugatuck and Trumbull. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, as well as a devoted wife to her husband, Everett. She will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by all of those friends and relatives who had the pleasure of knowing her and of being blessed by her warmth and loving smile. Mary is survived by her two beloved children, Janice Leas and her husband, Bill of Trumbull and Everett Johnson and his wife, Linda of Naugatuck. She is also survived by her loving sisters and brothers, Mildred Wake-man of Newtown, Helen Tullo of East Haven, Eva Richman and her husband, Douglas of La Jolla, Calif., Frederick Acquino and his wife, Connie of Merrimack, N.H., Thomas Acquino and his wife, Ginny of Spring Hill, Fla. and John Acquino and his wife, Marilyn of South Hampton, N.Y. In addition, Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Leas, Victoria Prickett and her husband, Roger, Cheryl Waters and her husband, Richard, and Everett Jr. and his wife, Mickie; also by great-grandchildren, Nicholas Healy, Jesse Prickett, Shawn Prickett, Ricky Waters, Joseph Waters, Britney Johnson and Kyle Johnson; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
