Mary R. Adams, 83, Punta Gorda, died July 29, 2003. She was born June 12, 1920, in Langhorne, Pa. She retired from the New Jersey Fish & Game Commission. She moved to Charlotte County from Absecon, N.J., in 1978. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Albert; daughters Alma Jean O'Connor of New Jersey and Mary Francis of Bridgewater, N.J.; a son, Albert of Atlantic City, N.J.; four grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services of Punta Gorda is in charge.
