CRAWFORD _ Mary Quon January 27, 1942 - October 16, 2006 Mary passed away peacefully in the caring arms of her family on Monday, October 16, 2006. She was predeceased by her mother Susane Dane; and is lovingly remembered by her life partner Pat; children Tracy (John), Sandi (Greg), Yayoi (Alex); grandchildren Brandon, Rachel, and Robert; sister Louise (Bill); and many special cousins, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and many precious friends. Mary fought her 5 1/2 year battle against ovarian cancer with bravery and dignity. Despite a lifetime of medical issues, Mary always put others needs before her own. Mary truly believed in her spiritual being. She is our hero and our angel and will be dearly missed by all those that she has touched. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 21 at Ocean View Funeral Chapel, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, Mary has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, specifically for Ovarian Cancer Research at 200 - 601 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4C2.
