ROCKWALL, Texas -- Ms. Mary K. Pierce of Rockwall, Texas, a winter resident of Dundee, died of heart failure Dec. 1, 2004, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 83.Born in Obion County, Tenn., on Nov. 29, 1921, she became a winter resident of Dundee two years ago, coming from Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockwall.Ms. Pierce is survived by her son, Donald Pierce, Santa Barbara, Calif.; brother, Lynn McMullin, Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; sisters, Hilda Allmon, Horseshoe Bend, Sue Waln, Rockwall; companion, Leonard Cerino; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
