PETERSON, MaryJanuary 27, 1910 – December 12, 2013It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Peterson at the age of in her 104th year. Mary was predeceased by her husband Raymond, parents, a sister Caroline and brother William. She is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children Amy Gerlock (Jim) of Edmonton and Gary Peterson (Dorothy) of Eckville, Alberta, grandchildren Mark, Kevin, Lori and Erika, and 4 great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her brother John Scratton of Foam Lake, nieces and nephews and their children. Mary was born in the Canora area, grew up on the family farm south of Foam Lake and attended school in the Ashdown area. After her marriage, she and Raymond farmed in the Norquay area before relocating to Foam Lake. The family later moved to Regina where Mary worked for Sears Canada. Mary enjoyed knitting and gardening and the friendship of the ladies from the Blue Room. Mary resided in Regina until moving to Edmonton in 2000 to be near her family.
