Mary Pearl Scott Carter - SAVANNAH - Mary Pearl Scott Carter, was born on August 25, 1942 to the late Sylvia and Charles Scott. She was called home to Glory on November 17, 2007. She was educated in the schools of Chatham County. She was a member of First New Life Community Church where Pastor Leroy Jenians resides. She leaves to mourn, two daughters, Elaine White of Kingston, NC and Donna (Ronald) Budgett of Savannah; three sons, Douglas Carter of West Virginia, VA, Gary Carter of Nixon, GA and Van Carter of Valdosta, GA; one step-son, McArthur Coxon of Savannah; step-daughter, Lynn Coachman of California; three sisters, Beatrice (Rodger) Scott Rhodes, twin sister, Martha (Eva) Rivers and Mary (Scott) Henderson who preceded her in death; two brothers, Charles (Florence) Scott and Nathaniel Scott who preceded her in death all of Savannah, GA, 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
