She was born August 22, 1945 in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late John R. Martin, Sr. and Elinor Hach Martin. Ms. Martin taught for many years in both parochial and public schools in Indiana and Tennessee. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, John R. Martin, Jr. (Faye), Chattanooga, TN, Peter H. Martin (Anne), Clarksville, TN, W. Paul Martin (Terry), Clarksville, TN, Adolf H. Martin, Clarksville, TN, Elinor M. Martin, Clarksville, TN, Mary M. Herman (Dan), Vincennes, IN, and Katharine M. Hogan (Larry), Clarksville, TN. Also surviving are 24 nephews and nieces and forty five great-nephews and great-nieces. Serving as Pallbearers are nephews, John R. Martin III, Michael L. Martin, Daniel J. Herman, Jr., John A. Herman, Patrick M. Herman, Eric L. Herman, Richard L. Hogan, David L. Hogan, Michael P. Hogan, John-Patrick Hogan, Gregory A. Martin, Christopher P. Martin, and Daniel M. Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are her beloved God-daughters, Maria H. Earley, Rebekah M. Woodard, and Bridget H. Miles.
