Mary P. Pitman, 67, of Wildwood Heights, West Sand Lake, died Monday, June 1, at Albany Medical Center Hospital, following a long illness. Born in Mechanicville, NY, on June 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Vardy Dunn and the wife of Eugene H. Pitman Before her retirement, she was a title clerk for the former Northway Auto Exchange in Clifton Park. She was a member of the Fraternal Society Boucci League of Mechanicville. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one son, Jeffrey Pitman of Saratoga; one daughter, Delene Pitman of West Sand Lake; four brothers, Robert, David, Stephen, and Irving Dunn; five sisters, Frances Ryan, Joan Ford, Sylvia Clark, Susan Pucci, and Robin Dunn. Also survived by one granddaughter, Hannah Hastings; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville, on Thursday, June 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
