Fleming, Mary P. TROY Mary Waters Fleming, 91, died Thursday, July, 28, 2011 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William Waters and Alice Leahy Waters and wife of the late John C. Fleming, who died in 2002. Raised and educated in Troy, she was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1939. Mrs. Fleming was a homemaker most of her life. Survivors include nine children, Alice W. Carpenter of Troy, Marie W. Healy of Loudonville, John C. Fleming of Vancouver, Wash., Eunice Stritsman of Wynanskill, Mark J. Fleming, Zoe Sickles, Timothy M. Fleming, Peter J. Fleming and Treva Shaer, all of Troy; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by four sisters, Alice White, Margaret Trahan, Catherine Smollin, Helen Rescott; and a brother, James Waters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Pawling Avenue, Troy. Burial will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Arrangements by the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, Lansingburgh.
