Mary Age 46, formerly of Horseheads, NY, died suddenly on December 31, 2005 in Richmond, VA. She was predeceased by her father, John Oprysko in 1985. Survivors include her husband, Barry Pierce; son, John "J.J."; mother, Irene Oprysko-Bowman of Snellville, GA; sisters, Kathy Cobaugh of Richmond, VA, Nancy White of Niantic, CT, Jo Anne Schlender of Waupaca, WI; brothers, Dr. John Oprysko of Snellville, GA, Michael Oprysko of Richmond, VA. Mary was a graduate of Horseheads High School. She was employed at Troutman Sanders Law Firm, Richmond, VA. Funeral arrangements were handled by Joseph Bliley Funeral Home, with burial at Westhampton Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
