ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Mary Olschefske Tompkins died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 in St. Petersburg, Fla., after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; and son, Scott.She leaves a sister, Helen Burr; and many loving family and friends in Connecticut and Florida.She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and sense of humor that was with her until the end.A Mass will be held at St. Laurent Church in Meriden, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. and burial will follow.
