-> Richmond Hill - Mary Ng Lee, died August 23, 2005. She was born February 17, 1912 in Bakersfield, Calif. Mary lived, worked and retired in San Francisco where she was a dispatcher for the National Maritime Union. For many years, she was the first and only woman dispatcher in the Union for merchant seamen. She moved to Richmond Hill, Ga. with her son and daughter-in-law and resided at the Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mary was a member of the Quong Ming Jade Emperor Palace Temple in San Francisco. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wah Kin Lee of San Francisco. She is survived by her son, Dean Lee and daughter-in-law, Mai Lon Ng Lee of Richmond Hill, Ga., grandson, Michael Dean Lee of Arlington, Va., and sister, Bernice Lim of San Leandro, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Quong Ming Jade Emperor Palace, 1123 Powell St., San Francisco, Calif., 94108. Services will be held at a later date.
