NELSON, Mary D. 59, passed away on June 21, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She also was a tireless volunteer for the All Children's Hospital Guild, and one heck of a golfer. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Winfield P. Nelson; her daughter, Lisa Piacenti; her step-daughter, Grace-Marie Nelson McCallum; her brother, Michael S. Davis, and her nephew, Todd Davis. Given Mary's health issues, mourning her passing does not seem right. Mary should be remembered as she was ...alive and vibrant ... and her life should be celebrated. So, sometime in late July, the family will host a special opportunity for people who loved her to get together and celebrate the "life and times" of Mary Nelson. The time and place will soon be announced.
