Mary Knight (Nelson) - August 04, 1948 - August 24, 2004 - Our beloved mother, grandmother Mary Knight (Nelson) passed away peacefully on August 24, 2004 at Baycrest Hospital, Toronto, Ontario after a lengthy illness, at the age of 56. She is survived by Stephen Knight, six siblings and her five children : David Brown, Shirletta (Billy) Etuk, Marvalee (Cecil) Mills, Christopher (Maria) Knight, Celena (Karl) Knight-Smith, Suelyn Knight, ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Gwendolyn and Rufus Nelson. Mary was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica on August 4, 1948. Mary was a warm, caring person with everyone she knew. She lived her life for others and was especially devoted to her family, to God and her church. Her children never doubted her love for them. They could always count on her support and guidance. Though we know she is now with God, she will be dearly missed. Prayers/viewing will take place on Thursday & Friday, September 2nd and 3rd between 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 9 a.m.- Zion Apostolic Church, Toronto, Ontario. The family wishes to thank the church, medical staff and her friends for their kindness and care through this difficult time.
