MORIN, Mary A. (nee Kennedy) Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 73. She will be joined in heaven with her late husband Rolland. Loving mother of Stephanie (Mark) and Roland (Jana). Proud grandmother of Shelby, Andrew and Emily. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Jean (John), Cathy (Rex) and her brother Bill (Sylvia), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary's journey as a nurse started at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital at St. John's, Newfoundland. She then continued on at the National Defence Medical Centre in Ottawa where she wore her uniform proudly. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Schlossmacher and Jennifer Conway at the Neuroscience Division for all their wonderful care. To Dr. Archibald and all the Staff at the Township of Osgoode Care Centre for their outstanding care and compassion during her illness. The family is truly grateful for the many friends and neighbours who have lent a hand over the years. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Daley Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Leonards Catholic Church, (5332 Long Island Rd., Manotick), reception to follow at the Manotick Legion (5550 Ann Street).
