MOORE, Mary Elizabeth, 84, of Tampa, climbed the mountain to cross into God' s heavenly kingdom on the first day of spring, March 21, 2007, at 11:55 p.m. Mary Elizabeth was born in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and attended Coe College. Her professional career spanned a variety of positions, including work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. However, she always considered her primary work to be serving God. She and her husband lived in many locations across the Midwest during their 60 years of marriage, including an RV retirement lifestyle. Mary Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Kathleen Rehl (Land O' Lakes, Fla.), Richard Moore (Shawnee, Kan.) and Stan Moore (Danville, Calif.); and brother, Lynn Whittenbaugh (Moreno Valley, Calif.). Her husband, Roscoe Moore, died two years ago. A memorial service will take place in mid-May at Grace Lutheran Church, 3714 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa. A separate service is planned for residents of John Knox Village, where Mary Elizabeth lived.
