Mary Leatrice MitchellMarch 18, 1926 - Oct. 19, 2013Mary Leatrice Roy (Williams),(Oswell), (Mitchell) Born on Thursday March 18, 1926, to Parents, Mary Ella Taylor (Roy), and Earnol Harris Roy. Graduated from Baker High School in year 1943. Mother had five brothers and Sisters, Albert, Camilla, Laura, Harris & Lawrence. Mother will be greatly missed by her twin daughters, Davette and Davida and her son Stephen. Her four Grand Children( Dawn Noel and Robert Wayne) and Donald Stephen and Amy Leticia. Her three Great Grand Children, (Ellyana Nicole), (Paxton Nomar), and Carmen Noel, and many Nieces and Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews. Some of the jobs Mother worked at was Hoover Hi Fidelity , Mobile Book store in downtown Mobile. The last job Mother had was as an Interior Decorator with Sears and Roebuck until she retired. Mother loved working in her flower beds at her home and loved music. She attended The Mobile symphony for many years. Mother asked in lieu of flowers to send a donation to New Hope Gardens Cemetery , P O Box 8635, Mobile, 36608 in her name (Mary Leatrice Mitchell). A memorial in memory of our mother will be held at a later date by her family.
