Mary Mitchell HAVANA - Mary Mitchell, 82, a tobacco farm worker and a homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT today at Strong & Jones Funeral Home chapel in Tallahassee (224-2139). She was a native of Troy, Ala. She is survived by nine grandchildren she reared, Alphonso McClure (and wife Grenda) of Jessup, Ga., Jacqueline Melvin (and husband Emmanuel) of Havana; James McClure (and wife Lisa) of Tallahassee, Angela McClure of Havana, Renay Starks (and husband Roger) of Tallahassee, Lola McClure of Jessup, Linda Tucker, Pamela McClure and Randall McClure (and wife Tenisha); and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
