Mary Mitchell Mills, age 87, of 850 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Hillcrest Hospital. The daughter of the late Isaac B. and L. Florence Mitchell. She was retired as a registered nurse with 35 years of service. She was also a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in LaFargeville, N.Y., and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Petrocco and husband, Gregory, of Mauldin, and Norma Eveland and husband, Larry, of Cape Coral, Fla.; three grandchildren; and eight great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Harley S. Mills; and a son, Murray M. Mills. Memorial service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Simpsonville Church of God, with the Rev. Joe Vicars officiating. Burial will take place in the Spring at Grove Cemetery, LaFargeville, N.Y. The family will receive friends following the service. The family will be at the home.
