HairdresserLAKELAND -- Mrs. Mary Jean Mills of Lakeland died of cancer Thursday (Nov. 3, 2005) in Lakeland. She was 84.Born in Wells County, Ind., on March 30, 1921, she came to Sebring from Geneva, Ind., in 1954, moving to Lakeland this year. She was a hairdresser. She was a member of the Sebring Golf and County Club and the Country Swingers. She taught water aerobics for South Florida Community College.Mrs. Mills is survived by her husband, Charles W. "Wally" Mills; daughter, Signa Riesen, Plant City; sisters, Bernadine Starr, Lakeland; two grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring.
