Obituary of Mary McKeon

McKEON, Mary Thelma, 86, of Tampa, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 28, 2004. She was born in Covington, Ga. on September 11, 1917 and lived in Tampa for the past 59 years. She was of the Catholic faith and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. McKeon; her brothers, Harold and Billy Darby; and sister, Viola Sproull. Survivors include her loving children, Patricia Castellano and husband Jim, Judy James and husband Bob, Joan Alexander and companion Ed Daniel, Mike McKeon, Tim McKeon and wife Margo and Patrick McKeon and wife Debbie; sisters, Sarah McDowell and Lorene Rollins of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held for the repose of her soul Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with Monsignor Laurence E. Higgins P.A. Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10-11 a. m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
