Marjorie was born September 24, 1918 in Victor, Colorado. She was a longtime resident of Nevada, Missouri and served as the assistant business manager for Cottey College before retiring in 1979. In Springfield, Marjorie was a member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church and P.E.O. Chapter IA.Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lee Miller; parents, Harry and Maurine Bennett; and sister, Ruth Allen.Marjorie is survived by sons, Bennett Miller and wife Debra, Terry Miller and wife Phyllis; five grandchildren, Derrick Miller and wife Kelly, Theresa Gerace and husband Johnny, Denise Miller, Brian Miller, Mandy Losse and husband David; six great-grandchildren, Josh, Braeden and Kody Miller, Zach and Nick Gerace and Elle Losse.Private graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. November 29, 2011 with the Reverend Jim Mason officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to P.E.O. Chapter IA and sent to the funeral home.
