MARY MARGARET NAULT Margaret Nault, 80, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away on Friday, April 16, 1999 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. She was born on Dec. 11, 1918 in Battleford, Sask., to the late Joseph and Nellie Savoie. As a child she moved to Fort Frances with her family and on Aug. 18, 1936, Margaret was united in marriage to Joe Nault. She loved being a homemaker and always put her family first and foremost in her life. Margaret enjoyed raising her many pets, gardening, flowers, and playing cards. Margaret had a good sense of humour and was always ready to share a joke with her family and friends whom she loved so much. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (Joe) Nault, on Oct. 14, 1990; one infant son, Joseph Claude Nault; one grandson, Bryan Korzinski; two brothers, Joseph and Edward Savoie; and two sisters, Hilda and Georgina Savoie. Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Louise Siliva and Melvin Perusse of Winnipeg, Man., and Shirley and husband, Ray Dolph of Fort Frances, Ont.; one sister, Leona Armit of Fort Frances, Ont.; and three grandchildren Blair Siliva, and Erin Siliva both of Winnipeg, Man.; Lyle Dolph of Fort Frances, Ont.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont. Pastor Brian Keffer officiated with interment done in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances, Ont. Friends visited Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont. The pallbearers will be her nephews; John Wickstrom, Ray Armit, Jack Armstrong, Danny Nault, friends of the family David Simmons and Ray Smith. The honourary pallbearers will be good friends; Pat Simmons, Donna Mae Wilson, Louise Smith, Margaret Dolph, Toni Spuzak and Nadia Felix. In memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Box 444, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8, or Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3T2, or to the charity of your choice.
