OWENS Mary Margaret Owens, 86, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away October 13, 2011, surrounded by family. Mary, born Mary Margaret Labadie, was born on March 29, 1925 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Ernest and Helen Labadie. On November 9, 1946, she married John Laurence Owens, Jack to family and friends. Mary and Jack had two sons, Larry and Bob. Mary spent most of her married life in Grayling, Michigan where Jack was a dentist and she ran his dental practice. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Jack Owens. She is survived by their two sons, Larry Owens and Bob Owens, daughter in law, Nancy Owens, two granddaughters, Allison Gleber and Angela Owens, and Allison's husband John Gleber. She was predeceased by her brothers Jack Labadie and Tony Labadie and her sisters Helen Corbett, Anna Mae Clark, and Kathleen Durocher. She is survived by her brothers, Howard Labadie, Bill Labadie, and Ray Labadie and her sister Sally Campau. A Memorial Mass will be held at Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, October 17, at 1 pm.
