Mary Margaret Brown December 12, 1931 - April 16, 2004 BROWN (Cleveland), Mary Margaret "Peggy" - 72, Spryfield, passed away April 16, 2004. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Power) Brown. She is survived by her children, Margaret "Susie" Rogers, Gail Jollimore, Kim Wright, Wendy Benedict, Edgar, Diane, William, Wayne, Lloyd, Donald, Kevin, Karen and Wanda Cleveland and their families; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth, Ontario; Basil, Halifax; many nephews and nieces and "adopted children". She was predeceased by daughters, Valerie and Teresa; sisters, Marie, Stella and A.T.; twin brother, Basil and brothers, Victor "Buddy" and Clyde. Her life was her family. Her love for children was not limited to her family but to many other young ones who continue to call her "mom". She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow in the funeral home. Cremation to follow. Graveside service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Parkinson's Society of Canada, Maritime Region.
