MAGUIRE, Mary Maxine (nee McCluggage) 86, of Indian Shores, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Belleair Health Care Center, Clearwater.Born and raised in Coshocton, OH in 1945, Mary moved to Newark, NJ where she resided for 10 years before moving to Point Pleasant, NJ.In 1998, she and her husband retired to Indian Shores. Mary was a Communicant of St. Martha's Church, Point Pleasant and was a member of the Rosary Society of the Church. She volunteered for 20 years at the former Point Pleasant Hospital in the X-Ray and clerical departments. She also had been employed at the New Jersey National Bank, Neptune for 10 years before retiring in 1975. Surviving is her beloved husband of 64 years Matthew J. Maguire Sr.; her son Matthew J. Maguire Jr. and his wife Lynn of Brick, NJ; her daughter Janis Higgins and husband Denis of Shrewsbury, NJ; her sister Ruth Neldon of Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd. at Rt. 70, Brick, NJ 08724, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday,June 29, 2009, at 11 am at St. Martha's RC Church, Point Pleasant, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall, NJ.
