Obituary of Mary-Magdalene Wright


Funeral for Mary Magdalene Wright, 87, of Hartselle will be today, Nov. 28, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Junior Hill and Charles Goodall officiating. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Wright died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Morgan County to Mack M. Patterson and Hattie Entrekin Patterson. She was a member of Westview Church of Christ in Hartselle for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Wright.Survivors include six sons, Billy Ray Wright of Vinemont, Lewis Edgar Wright of Somerville, Roy Charles Wright of Hartselle, Chester Lamar Wright of Hartselle, Donnie Max Wright of Decatur and Scotty Sherrill Wright of Hartselle; two daughters, Mollie Irene Wright and Rebecca Ann Roberts, both of Hartselle; two brothers, M.M. Patterson and Joe C. Patterson, both of Hartselle; one sister, Marie Patterson Garlington of Hartselle; 16 grandchildren; 21 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren.Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
