She was born July 5, 1950 in Rocky Mount, NC. The daughter of the late Eddie and Ollie Bell Williams. She was educated in the Nash County schools.She was employed at Vassar College for 37 years until she reited.Madgeline enjoyed going fishing, cook and spending time with family and friends. No one was ever a stranger to her.She is survived by two sisters, Lucy Parker McNeil and Willie Ann Alston and a brother Alonzie Parker all of Rocky Mount, NC. Special nieces and nephew Mary : Cookie" Lewis whom she considered a daughter, Brenda Spruill, Alice Faye Parker and Leon Parker. A host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her sister Edith Lynch and two brothers Jasper and Willie Parker. She was also preceded in death by her partner in life Hardy Lee Parker, Sr. She will be missed by all who knew her.Mary will lie in repose 10-11am Thursday, April 11. at Beulah Baptist Church 92 Catharine Street, Poughkeepsie. Services 11am at the church. Reverend Regina Stroman will officiate. Interment at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
