Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Madgeline Weathers Carter, 78, will be December 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Ellis Ray Smith officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Carter passed away December 1, 2010 at Sylacauga Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chandler O. Carter; grandson, Jason Lee Carter. She is survived by sons, Tommy Carter of Calera, Sidney Carter of Sylacauga; daughter, Sheila Harris of Sylacauga; step-son, Bobby Wayne Carter of Sylacauga; step- daughters, Joyce Nelson and Jeanette Wilson both of Sylacauga; brothers, Milton Weathers of Sylacauga, Johnny Weathers of Boise, ID, Paul Weathers of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren.
